Has anyone ever taken the metro to the skins game? Ive always gotten parking passes but im thinking of taking the metro in lue of dealing with the hassle of driving. Can anyone help with my questions below?
-Which stop is the closest to FedEx
-Are there shuttles to the stadium, and if so which section do they drop you off at, I want to meet up with friends in the Green D Section.
-What time does the metro run til on sunday nights, as I have to get back to Arlington.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

The Dallas game is one of the best to tailgate at. I'd drive and just deal with the traffic. It won't be as bad since it is a night game. Especially getting out.

I took the Metro last year and I will be taking it again on Sunday night
The Morgan Boulevard Metrorail Station is the closest to Fed Ex.
Yes there are shuttles to the Stadium, but I didn't use it so I couldn't tell you where the drop off is.
The Metro runs until Midnight. That is what they tell you anyway. What really happens is that they hold the last Metro Trains until they are sure that they have the Majority of the Metro travelers leaving the game. And they do it at every stop. In other words they told you that they were only running until Midnight, but in reality you waited until 1 AM before the last train left the Station, and realistically you didn't make it home for another 30 min to 2 hours depending on where you are getting off. Last year I didn't get home until 2 am on average, and I get off at the Forrest Glenn Metro off of the Red Line.

Take the Blue line to Morgan Blvd. It is the next to last stop. It is about a mile walk to the stadium from there. You will pass the green lot but it depends on where you need to go in the green lot. Morgan Blvd is in the A section and the parking lot is sectioned A through H. You will pass the Green lot but you will need to know the exact section. Also it is easy to get lost around there.

I have taken the shuttle from McCormick Drive (Holiday Inn Express and Radisson) several times this year and it was pretty nice. Charter busses were comfortable and not crowded like it was with the metro shuttle busses last year. Significant price increase comes along with it though. $15 a head this year. Bus drops off and pick up at the stadium in section G, not sure which color though.

If you're going to take the metro, this is def. where you wan't to be. Its about a 10 minute walk from Morgan Blvd. to the stadium and its not a bad walk at all. They also have shuttles right at the station.

If I was you I'd ask your friends to buy some extra beer and food and then chip in some money when you hook up with them. Unless you want to be the Mr Rolling Cooler Cooler Roller.

If he is coming from Arlington he can just take the shuttle from Apollo lot. Gotta find somewhere to park. It'll be $40 to park there AND shuttle. If you find a free spot to park in around there then it is pretty easy in and out. Out can be a little slow sometimes. If you happen to take the metro AND then shuttle in from there it drops you off on the west side of the stadium near the escalators. Whata color pass do your friends have and where are they coming from. I can tell most likely where they will be.

Every time I go to a Skins game I take the metro, because the Franconia-Springfield station is only about 10 miles from my house. Basically wherever you get on, at some point you transfer to the Blue Line if you aren't on it already and then everybody gets off at Morgan Boulevard station. It's about a mile walk from the stadium but it really isn't that bad, I don't mind walking it at all and it saves you enough on the parking pass because Metro is really cheap compared to the parking pass and all the gas you'd use if you drove.
