I just called my brother who is a Hokie, and his initial impression was "Oh no. Problem child at Tech, problem child in Atlanta, and bust in Oakland". Let's hope Hall approaches this audition as a chance to resurrect his career and to remake his current image as a bad teammate.
I agree,I hope so to but I really hate these deals with signing a player and HOPING he changes. That's a Cowgirl trademark is'nt it? What the hell, maybe we can sign Vick too when he gets out of jail.

Skins confirm that Hall will wear #21 (http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s115/Stevo71/Funny%20Stuff/SuckaFish.jpg)
He looks familiar. I think I caught him one time.

Its low risk, if he is focused and healthy he's a playmaker that we can use. If he isn't, he doesn't stick out the year.
As for the #21, Matty that was pretty slick...

The official GTripp position:
This move has the potential to be good, but more likely will hurt us or just be indifferent.

If he plays well he'll hit the market next year and get all he can, thats why the Skins had to agree not to Franchise tag him.
Well if that happens then it would still be a win for us. I think he just wanted to leave himself some options and I don't think he will see francise tag money with any team no matter how well he plays.

Redskins sign Hall - Redskins 360 - Washington Redskins Commentary - Washington Times (http://www.washingtontimes.com/weblogs/redskins/2008/Nov/07/redskins-sign-hall/) The Raiders gave him a seven-year, $70 million contract but quickly became fed up with his poor play and pouting.

There is an interesting paragraph in this article:
ESPN - Cornerback DeAngelo Hall agrees to join Washington Redskins with one-year deal (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3688600)
This seems like a great team in terms of Management right now. I like that Danny asked the players, but seems like Hall was properly directed to Zorn. That gives me a lot more confidence in the "cancer" factor.
Yep, its getting tougher to pick at our front office.
