KLHJ2 11-04-2008, 01:51 AM Good lord, NO, IT IS NOT THE REASON WE LOST. Fuck, people. But it's jacked up that "fans" would sell their seats to all of mf'ing Steeler nation. If anyone here doesn't get that, I don't know what else to tell you.
It may not be the reason we lost, but the game could have been closer. It's called a home-field advantage for a reason. Tonight, it didn't happen.
MiraclesHappen07 11-04-2008, 01:53 AM See, DR gets it. Reading is fundamental kids.
i get it also, ive been saying that

To put it simply, It's a FUCKING EMBARASSMENT! To the team, and to any REAL fans. I'm ASHAMED! ASHAMED that on national T.V., even the announcers commented on how many Steeler fans were in OUR HOUSE! I wish I could take the ticket from every COCKSUCKING SEASON TICKET HOLDER that does'nt go to at least half of our home games and give them to someone who gives a shit.

Kornheiser sure made it a point to mention that a couple of times. I swear, sometimes I think he hates all the local teams.

I looooove your enthusiasm!! :woot: Wish more people were just as passionate.

After seeing that on national TV, how can we defend our fan base when we let the enemy raid our home games like that?
Off the top of my head, that sort of invasion would NEVER occur in Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Chicago, Philly, New England, Denver or at the New York (Giants). Pittsburgh plays in Baltimore every year, and I don't recall Ravens fans ever surrendering their home field advantage to the enemy the way we did tonight. I'm more embarrased by our no-show fans than by our team's performance tonight, and that's saying something.

Do I dare say that ticket prices have risen so much that true fans can't afford them. Instead, we have these corporate types, who buy them as a symbol of their wealth and willingly give these tickets up when the game becomes an inconvenience?
And I agree on your comment about Kornheiser...I used to be a huge fan of his until he blew up at the critcisism he got after his first MNF outing.

You only attempt to invade Philly if you have some sick and twisted deathwish. I'm afraid to walk through Philly with a Skins jersey on.

You've hit the nail right on the head Ruhskins. It's a shame.

Come on Rave. I bet you would if you had 34,999 other Redskin fans with you. :)
