CRedskinsRule 11-06-2008, 03:49 PM I can't either but apparently people want to justify selling their tickets to the opposing team. You must have struck a nerve.
Actually, I think it is 50/50 people wanting to bash those who do, those who do making their points.
Either way, seems like the points have been made...

Bring a crying towel for McNabb and some bandages for Westbrook with you too.
Twilbert07 11-06-2008, 04:44 PM I just called the Redskins ticket office and picked up 2 club-level seats for the Dallas game. I go to this game every year, and it is extra nice knowing that these are at least two tickets that Cowboys fans won't snap up!

AKskins 11-06-2008, 07:52 PM I am currently in my second year as a season ticket holder (sec 412), and I live in Anchorage, Alaska. My goal is to make it to four games per year, and I try to sell the rest. Last year, I was able to sell three games to fellow redskin fans here in Anchorage that could afford to make the trip. This year, I have had more trouble finding local buyers (mostly due to the economy) and have had to use Stub Hub. I sold my Steelers tickets there just last Tuesday. I looked at the cheapest seats in my section, knocked off ten dollars, and had them sold to someone in VA within four hours. I have no way of knowing who they were cheering for. I can say this though, when I went to the Saints game, I saw probably about half a dozen jerseys out walking around and we weren't even playing them!
When I originally purchased my tickets, I knew there was absolutely no way of being able to go to all of the games, but I was willing to put forth the money so that I could attend those that I wanted to. Last years Dallas game I could have sold my tickets for enough to pay for almost my whole season tickets. I did not. It was my first season and I would not have missed that game for the world! There is now way in the world that I could have afforded to attend such a game without having my season tickets. It is embarassing that there were so many steeler fans in the stands, but just as others have stated before, Redskin fans have the same opportunity as opposing team fans to purchase tickets from people like me are (regrettably) not able to attend, and they did not.
I am a long-time lurker here at the Warpath and I apologize to all of the fans here that my first post had to be in this negative thread. But hopefully this if just the first of many other positive ones to come.
Hail!!

Wow, you live in Alaska and make it to four games. I won't complain about driving from Fairfax ever again.
53Fan 11-06-2008, 09:56 PM To all the Redskin fans who don't have season tickets and either did not want to go, or were not able to go to the Skins-Steelers game, it is your fault for all the Steelers fans being at the game, because you did not buy tickets from the ones who do have season tickets and either did not want to go, or were not able to go.

I guess I should explain a little bit about that. I work for the airlines, so getting there is not a big deal, so long there is an open seat (I fly standby). It does mean a minimum three day trip though, and that only if we go there for the game and no sight-seeing.
I'm not sure that four games is going to happen this year. I think that three is the best that I am going to be able to do. So far this year went to Saints and Browns; ate tickets for Cards and Rams. Dallas is out due to family reasons. Right now toss up between Philly and NY. Also slight possibility of Seattle away, we'll see.
