What time does the game start? 8 or 8:30? I'm trying to be home by 8:30 so I don't miss too much..

That sums up my day so far. I can't sit still, and I can't focus. I haven't been this nervous before a game in a long time (this may be the 3rd or 4th time I've said that this season :)). Election Eve, live from the Nation's Capital, a massive game, tons of injuries, a psyched up home crowd, two viscious defenses, the possibilty of a 7-2 record heading into the bye... HO-LEE-SHIT. It's a monster game. I just stood up at my desk. Again. I could probably put my head through a wall right now and not feel it.
This a golden opportunity to show the country what we're made of on what's bound to be a hugely watched MNF game.

8:30 Is the scheduled start for the broadcast. But kickoff usually is 8:35ish.

I know!!! After that last national fiasco in NYC we need to show the nation what we can do.
One thing to be happy about... the scouts at ESPN have our special teams ahead of Pitt's. I am finally not super worried that we will screw this one up by botching a punt coverage.

Funny because back in August if someone would have said the Skins would be 6-3 at the bye, I think all of us would have gladly taken that.
A loss isn't the end of the world, the stretch after the bye with the division games is far more critical.

I know that Pittsburg is a good team, and they are 5-2, but who has looked at their record in depth?
HOU (http://www.nfl.com/teams/houstontexans/profile?team=HOU) 17 @ PIT (http://www.nfl.com/teams/pittsburghsteelers/profile?team=PIT) 38
PIT (http://www.nfl.com/teams/pittsburghsteelers/profile?team=PIT) 10 @ CLE (http://www.nfl.com/teams/clevelandbrowns/profile?team=CLV) 6
PIT (http://www.nfl.com/teams/pittsburghsteelers/profile?team=PIT) 6 @ PHI (http://www.nfl.com/teams/philadelphiaeagles/profile?team=PHI) 15
BAL (http://www.nfl.com/teams/baltimoreravens/profile?team=BAL) 20 @ PIT (http://www.nfl.com/teams/pittsburghsteelers/profile?team=PIT) 23
PIT (http://www.nfl.com/teams/pittsburghsteelers/profile?team=PIT) 26 @ JAC (http://www.nfl.com/teams/jacksonvillejaguars/profile?team=JAX) 21
PIT (http://www.nfl.com/teams/pittsburghsteelers/profile?team=PIT) 38 @ CIN (http://www.nfl.com/teams/cincinnatibengals/profile?team=CIN) 10
NYG (http://www.nfl.com/teams/newyorkgiants/profile?team=NYG) 21 @ PIT (http://www.nfl.com/teams/pittsburghsteelers/profile?team=PIT) 14
So, 5 wins against Houston, Cleveland, Baltimore, Jacksonville, and Cinncinati. Only one team with a winning record (The Ravens).
2 losses against the NFC East.
Is there anyone who thinks that maybe their impressive record could be the result of a relatively easy schedule?
