MiraclesHappen07 11-04-2008, 01:21 AM what pissed me more is our deffense playing their hearts out in the whole game and our offense continues to struggle! So damn irratating CanadianSkin 11-04-2008, 01:27 AM We got beat by the best defence in the league. We have played 9 regular season games in a row, and then add the 5 preseason games. It is all good. If someone said wew ould be 6-3 going into the bye I would be totally pumped. We will hopefully get Taylor and Springs back heathly and others that are nicked up. So come one Skisn fans, we are looking good to make the playoffs and possibly win the division. Also we alsways win the Superbowl after the Giants do so, keep your head up and your chest out cause we are going to kill Dallas in two weeks. Hail to the Redskins!!!!!! GusFrerotte 11-04-2008, 01:31 AM We are a slightly above average team, and many of knew that deep down inside. Now it is finally out in the open. I have to agree with you for the most part. When all of our cylinders are working, we are a rather solid team, but we are banged up, and with an offensive system that isn't conducive to scoring for us for some reason. Right now, I can envision us at 9-7 or 8-8. JWsleep 11-04-2008, 01:31 AM One thing is very apparent, and this is a "west coast" thing, I think. If we do not get any rhythm, we look horrid. Sure, Pitt's D took us out of lots of things, but we need to find ways to get moving when the first options are not working. Look, we're 6-3 at the bye, and I'm sure everyone on this board would have been totally psyched about that coming into the year. We've got some soft road games we must win: Seattle, Cincy, and SF. If we do that, we're at 9 wins. Then just one more win: Philly, Dallas, NY at home, Raisins in baldamore. I think 10 wins will get us a WC. Of course, we should win those NFC Easties at home as well. And fuck the Raisins! But even if we stumble there, we've got winnable games. ANd yes, I know. We lost to the Rams and we barely beat the brownies and the Lions. But we got 6 wins out of a VERY tough first half + 1. Now, recharge, regroup, and GET IT DONE! Hail from Houston. MiraclesHappen07 11-04-2008, 01:32 AM yeah i know we shouldnt be down but our offense continues to be ineffecient. we cant have our D and running game the only ones doing anything. special teams and passing needs to inprove. Hoping we recharge and bring the house for the next 7 games. GTripp0012 11-04-2008, 01:37 AM I honestly thought this game would be very easy *IF* we could find a way to protect the QB. We didn't, and it wasn't. And of course, Leftwich's play was not something I accounted for. Without him, we probably come back in the second half of that game. That move alone is the entire difference between the Steelers organization and the Cowboys organization. It encapsulizes why, despite considerable injury to both teams, Pittsburgh is a top 5 team, and the Cowboys might be a Top 25 team on a good day. mooby 11-04-2008, 02:14 AM Just goes to show how imporatant depth is, that's all. If the Cowboys had good depth they would've kept rolling when Romo went down, instead they had Brad Johnson and that's part of why they aren't looking good. redwarrior111 11-04-2008, 02:15 AM Maybe I just still don't know anything but... What is so inherittely wrong with our passing game other than we never really give it much of a shot because our running game is so good? Zorn seems to love quarterbacks so much he was about to bloody propose to Cambell tonight when he called the time out. he has deffinitely worked him and it seems to have paid off in some respects. Moss looks good (though broken at the monet. But heck did you see pittsburg's special teams? They looked like amputated vietnam vets). cooley looks good. I'd say we aren't blocking but sacking doesn't LOOK like a consistent problem to me....What is it? 53Fan 11-04-2008, 02:28 AM Maybe I just still don't know anything but...
