DynamiteRave 11-04-2008, 12:58 AM You know there are a lot of Steelers fans in these parts. I, for one am one, when they aren't playing the Redskins/When the Steelers are in the playoffs. Ruhskins 11-04-2008, 12:58 AM Please don't listen to the pessimists. The Giants and Eagles both have tough schedules and will most likely lose a few. We get several softer teams. So we should win more. The biggest challenge will be when we play the Giants again, we HAVE to win that, to keep a shot for the Tiebreakers. As for a wildcard, if we keep winning we will get that. Bottom line is we need to win all of our division and conference games without question, and root for the other division teams to beat themselves up. So the Lions, Rams, and Browns weren't soft enough? 53Fan 11-04-2008, 12:59 AM Seeing all those Steelers fans in our home, it just makes me sick to my stomach. That was an embarrassment. What happened to homefield advantage? Sickening. Gtothearry 11-04-2008, 12:59 AM Wow. 30000 steelers fans. That's shameful. We got pwned in our house, on and off the field. I agree completely. I've heard to many times from different media types and some players how the fans in DC are so great. There are a lot of great and smart fans of the skins. The problem is that the majority of them don't own season tickets. To many people in the DC area see season tickets as a money making option. That is why there was 30,000 Pitt fans in DC. horse 11-04-2008, 12:59 AM Oh yeah and not for nothing look at the stats our D is outstanding I mean no matter how good you are your gonna get tired if your always out there, Without some fluky plays and that damn punt-block, if the offense could've gotten maybe a couple 1st downs the D might've pitched a shutout. Ruhskins 11-04-2008, 12:59 AM That was an embarrassment. What happened to homefield advantage? Sickening. Apparently it didn't work tonite, nor did it work against the Rams. Ruhskins 11-04-2008, 01:00 AM Oh yeah and not for nothing look at the stats our D is outstanding I mean no matter how good you are your gonna get tired if your always out there, Without some fluky plays and that damn punt-block, if the offense could've gotten maybe a couple 1st downs the D might've pitched a shutout. Our defense is always looking great, but you can only ask so much when they keep going to the field b/c our offense can't move the chains to save their life. cpayne5 11-04-2008, 01:01 AM Wow. 30000 steelers fans. That's shameful. We got pwned in our house, on and off the field. It doesn't surprise me. The average butt in the seat at FedEx is a casual fan at best. Not many crazies there. Too many seats. Too many corporate ticket holders. The crowd is diluted. theJBexperience 11-04-2008, 01:01 AM What a fucking mess. Ugh, disgusting. We better figure out how to score some damn touchdowns or there won't be any playoffs this year. That game was basically a shutout. Pitt gave us the 6 pts early with the onsides kick and the pick. Most disgusted I've felt in a while. LVP (Least Valuable Players) Devin Thomas- ok, so Moss is out and you show us... absolutely... nothing. Great job. Oline- Really, blocking, its still legal. Secondary- How about covering someone (anyone?) on third down. Thomas was pathetic. He was playing to get a pass interference and not to make a big play on that one deep ball. That ticked me off so bad. Why did we draft so heavy on WRs this year? We can't wind up like the Lions and do that every year, and we've seen nothing from our 2nd round talent. I really hope everyone's right about giving them time. CRedskinsRule 11-04-2008, 01:03 AM So the Lions, Rams, and Browns weren't soft enough? and we won two of three of those, remember we beat Arizona Dallas Eagles... please don't make it sound like suddenly this team is out of the division hunt because we lost to an AFC team with the number 1 D. Its not true. We have lots of positive options. |
