This is a huge game.
This is the type of game that will put players in the probowl.
If rogers wants to go to Hawaii, He is going to have to catch atleast one ball today. The same goes for Landry, If he can outplay Palomalu, he might be able to make it to hawaii too! If he plays...
If we win this game, He go into the second half trying to overtake the giants as division leaders.
If we lose this game, we try to hold onto the wild card spot with the Beagles and Cowbitches breathing down our necks.
We need to win this game!!!

Funny because back in August if someone would have said the Skins would be 6-3 at the bye, I think all of us would have gladly taken that.
A loss isn't the end of the world, the stretch after the bye with the division games is far more critical.
Certainly true... hell even when we were 2-1 headed to Dallas 6-3 would have been a dream. But when you sit at 6-2 and realize you can reverse this seasonal 3rd quarter trend... you really hope for that 7th before you get the week off.

That sums up my day so far. I can't sit still, and I can't focus. I haven't been this nervous before a game in a long time (this may be the 3rd or 4th time I've said that this season :)). Election Eve, live from the Nation's Capital, a massive game, tons of injuries, a psyched up home crowd, two viscious defenses, the possibilty of a 7-2 record heading into the bye... HO-LEE-SHIT. It's a monster game. I just stood up at my desk. Again.I could probably put my head through a wall right now and not feel it.
This a golden opportunity to show the country what we're made of on what's bound to be a hugely watched MNF game.
I LOVE your EXCITEMENT GMScud! This is what football's all about! LET"S ROLL BABY!!! :frusty:

This is a big game and don't hate at me for saying this but, i think we dont have all that much to lose, but we have a lot to gain. If we lose we have 12 days to fix it while if we win we are 7-2 with 7 left to play. I'm not going to be in a panic if we are 6-3.
This is a day (and possibly tomorrow) when myself and my employer would be better served if I had taken the day off..........

I was debating on which day to take off- today or tomorrow. I chose tomorrow. I can sleep in, considering it's a given I'll be up until around 1am tonight, plus I can follow the election returns all day. And of course I plan on having more than one scotch tonight...

I keep looking in, as if the game was going to start sooner. The game can't get here fast enough. I want a good solid game from our team, but am very nervous about all the injuries. I just want the Skins to win. 7-2 would be awesome! Sitting here at work is driving me insane

I know that Pittsburg is a good team, and they are 5-2, but who has looked at their record in depth?

So, 5 wins against Houston, Cleveland, Baltimore, Jacksonville, and Cinncinati. Only one team with a winning record (The Ravens).
2 losses against the NFC East.
Is there anyone who thinks that maybe their impressive record could be the result of a relatively easy schedule?
I agree with this. But with our injury report looking how it is I think it evens the odds out. All we gotta do is continually put Roethlisberger (w/ cheese) on his ass. Keep doing it till Big Ben quits ticking. Oh yea, CP popping off would help too.
