The thread says rank him on "confidence". So I give him a 5 I'm VERY confident that he has control of his team and has the leadership to get us to the promised land. His play calling has been spread out and yes he needs to work on the RED ZONE offense. But after his stern "talking to" of Clinton P and his passion shown at the press conference... only backs up my choice. I can say I am very confident of him. And the fact he is a 1st year HC just makes it all silly good :-)

I would love to see the people giving him a 3 explain that stance to his face press conference style.

I gave the reasons for that I gave him a 3. The poll asks for a confidence level right now. at 3-1 I was very confident. Now he has had the team for 13 games, as he said in the Monday press conference, and we still have penalties, killed drives and poorly executed plays on the opponents side of the 50.
I am still far happier with him then any other would have been coach, but remember he basically was given a team with lots of brimming talent. I believe we have scored less than at this point last year (if i am wrong I am sure someone will correct me).
I am a big Zorn supporter, love his approach etc. But I need to see us progress to the point where we can sustain drives inside the 40 yd line before my confidence goes back up.
I am sure Zorn is a confident enough man, that me saying this to him at a press conference would be met with a gracious agreement then proceed to tell me how he is working to change it, with lots of fascinating analogies to get the point across:)

Tough audience out there -- the only way he has your complete confidence is to win a SB? There are many excellent coaches who haven't.
Name one. If you can't win the big one then you can't be "excellent" in my book.

3 - It seems I keep waiting for the bubble to burst. Like it's too good to be true. I just don't have that "world beater" feeling yet.
I went with a 5.
He's exceeded my expectations so far and he looks like he belongs as a NFL Head Coach. He should only improve as he gains more experience too.

I gave him a 4. I'm sold on this guy. I love how he holds everyone accountable. My one problem is I wish we'd throw some more passes downfield so we could perhaps score a little quicker.

Definitely a 4 in my book. I'd like to see better clock management out of him, but that's something that comes with experience. Also, some of his success has been based on lack of scouting information on him. I'll give him a 5 when other teams think they know exactly what he is going to do, and he still trounces them.

5. I don't see how anyone can NOT have total confidence in him.
He doesn't stand for losing, or even mistakes. Ask Durant Brooks. Even ask Portis after this week, not a lot of coaches will rip their star player apart like that, but still get results.
