He's on pace for 1,888.

I'll say he'll end up around 1,650 - 1,700.

No he won't. He's got 3 division games + pittsburgh left, and will average only 60yds per game in those contests. Even 1800 is a stretch. I don't care about Portis' stats though, just want him to get us to the playoffs and be healthy when we get there.

I hope he takes it easy and gives rock and sellers some carries. We are going to need Portis later in the season if we make the playoffs.

Agreed. I think one thing we should consider when giving Portis some rest is a two tight set with Yoder as the second TE and Sellers as the RB. Sellers has been itching to get the ball for years and with tip toe Alexander in the back field we're going to need a battering ram not named Portis.

if he runs all over dallas and philly like he did in the first meetings,he has a great chance at it.

Portis is all that!!! But alexander needs to start running harder at the hole and stop the dance acted! PORTIS HIT'S THE LINE like a train and Alexander is slow to make that move and to run hard! Just think he was the best in the game just a few seasons ago.

Probably not. He's carrying a pretty big load right now and as soon as Betts gets back I'd assume his carries will go down a bit.

I was hoping he could break 1000 today! Its going be tough for him to break 2000. I can definitely see 1700-1800 yds with hopefully 15 TD's.

Everything is possible but he'll need to average 132 yards per game from here on out which is quite a feet. Plus there are 4 teams (especially the #1 ranked Steelers and #2 ranked Ravens) with a good/great defense we still have to play.
