So our man Byron Chamberlain didn't make it. Neither did some last minute injury replacements in Antonio Freeman and Dorsey Levens. And Tim Couch, what happens to his career now?

I would have liked to have been in Herman Edwards office when he asked Little (Lil) John Flowers to see him and bring his playbook

Edwards: Lil John, we don't think you're the best fit for this team
Lil John: What? What?
Edwards: We hope you understand
Lil John: What?
Edwards: Good luck to you kid
Lil John: Yeah!

So who do we claim off waivers? Is it posible we'll trade?

Who are the best CBs in the bunch? Is the guy from Buffalo any good? Maybe Williams knows his play...

maybe a DB or linemen, though i doubt the leftovers have many good pickings...

surprised by couch, guess they didn't like his attitude, not that i think he's all that great... eventuall they'll need to replace iron man though...

i thought i heard about a decent safety getting tossed aside from these cuts, can't remeber the name though...

You're probably thinking of Kwamie Lassiter from San Diego.

Not too much of a suprise by Couch. He should of been to Green Bay back in spring mini camps. What a dummy!!! He just thought he was too good to be Farves back up. Well I am sure someone will pick him up, but I would think he will be a # 3 quarterback this year. He could of had it made in GB after Farve leaves in a couple of years, but we now see what he is made out of.

maybe... if i could remember i could tell you ;)... is he worth picking up? its pretty late, but might be worth the possible upgrade from franz (assuming lassiter isn't horrible or injured, i know nothing about him).

think simon was an IR stash btw? kinda seems like it, he runs, catches and returns... didn't seem like that shoulder injury was season-ending...

I'm a little suprised by the Bills cutting Gildon and Keith McKenzie

Anyone think the decision to keep only 4 DBs might have been partly influenced by looking at the schedule and seeing that early on we don't really face any teams that are deep with their receiver corps. Tampa-Keenan is out, Galloway is fading, Clayton is a rookie. Giants-Toomer, Shockey wouldn't be covered by a DB anyway, Cowboys-please, OVER! RATED!, Browns-ok, well they might be decent passing team, Ravens-they're definitely not a decent passing team

Here's some info on Lassiter

He's a decent player but tends to gamble a lot. Might be worth a look though
