I don't know what happened exactly, but Zorn said it was just a bad kick by Suisham.

Southpaw 10-20-2008, 09:19 AM I don't know what happened exactly, but Zorn said it was just a bad kick by Suisham. It was a bad kick, but at the very least, Suisham and Plackemeier were out of sync. That shouldn't be an issue, going forward. GTripp0012 10-20-2008, 09:33 AM He's not a Redskin, but: Romeo Crennel -- In a game that could have got his team back into the chase in the AFC North, he avoids for the second time in three games making a QB change at halftime when it is obvious that it can only improve his teams' chances of winning. Then you get a first and goal at the one yard line, and you end up going backwards because you can't call a play that relies on your QB to do anything. Despite a relative meltdown from the Redskins from that point on, the game was all but over when the Goal Line stand was made. We outplayed Cleveland a lot more than the final score suggested, but if they had changed QBs at half and Quinn plays even mediocre, they probably beat us. For those of you counting, that's two wins this year that Crennel has cost the Browns. Takeuon 10-20-2008, 09:56 AM HOW ABOUT GIVING SOME PROPS TO OUR DEFENSE! Essentially we stopped them 7 times on the goal line. Yeah they got it on the final 4th and 1 with that play action fake. But we were all flying around all over the field! I mean those hits by Carlos and London yesterday were SWEET! hail_2_da_skins 10-20-2008, 10:18 AM I don't know what game you guys were watching, but Derek Anderson looked bad because the Redskin defense was flying all over the place. The receivers were dropping passes because they were getting drilled after the catch. The Browns had a hard time scoring in the red zone because the Redskin defense was hitting every thing moving. The score was low because the Redskin offense had poor field position, committed dumb penalties and didn't convert on third down. BDBohnzie 10-20-2008, 10:26 AM Chris Cooley looked way out of sync yesterday. Seems that he let one mistake come into his psyche and that set the tone for him the entire game. At least 2 drops, and while his fumble did not lead to a turnover, not only is that 2 weeks in a row with a fumble, but he looked very nonchalant about it. Not sure what happened on that sequence during the Suisham miss...the TV guys said high snap didn't allow Plackenmeyer to get the ball down in time, but nonetheless, inside 40 should be automatic. I watched the game with 2 buddies, and told them that Brady Quinn will most likely be the starter next week. If he isn't, I wouldn't be surprised if the rumor mill about Crennel's firing gets juiced up. Speaking of which, are there 2 more boring guys to call a game other than Ian Eagle and Solomon Wilcots?!?! A few times DA threw balls to the completely wrong spot though, and his accuracy is so bad. The D played well, but I really think DA was his own worst enemy. They need to make a change before their season is totally down the toilet. Dirtbag59 10-20-2008, 01:23 PM Greg Blache - Dude is it to much to ask for a shut out every now and then? I think it's funny considering how many people, including myself, thought the Browns had a great qb situation during the offseason. Anderson wasn't looking quite so bad and people were saying they had two really nice options at qb with Quinn in the mix. Now it's looking like DA should be a backup somewhere, he has really underperformed this season.
