Beemnseven 10-20-2008, 07:11 AM While I don't agree with Barack Obama philisophically on most issues, the one area where I favor him over McCain is temperament. Obama strikes me as someone who is more thoughtful, more introspective and level-headed. McCain appears as more impulsive, acting from the gut. And his first instinct appears to be violence. Now, that may be a product of his military background. But we've had eight years of a president and an administration who obviously acts without thinking things through. He's mixing a speech from Obama reacting to his new supporter with Powell's speech to the U.N. on Iraq's weapons of mass destruction. Obviously asking the question of why Obama is so pleased with the endorsement of a person who initially opposed him on the Iraq war.
