mcollough hasn't been injured because he hasn't played enough... he's okay, but i doubt he'll be a starter, unless its a committee and a couple years down the road...
Uh-oh, where was Rock? That Guy 09-05-2004, 10:06 PM mcollough hasn't been injured because he hasn't played enough... he's okay, but i doubt he'll be a starter, unless its a committee and a couple years down the road... sportscurmudgeon 09-07-2004, 01:09 PM Sultan's best shot at being a starter somewhere is to go back to USC. At least he has a shot at that job! Beemnseven 09-07-2004, 01:26 PM Well, it certainly won't be the first or the last time I've been wrong about a roster prediction. I'm surprised Rock made it to be honest with you. Not because I think he's a bad player or anything, it just seems like we have too many at that position. And I can't imagine he'll see a whole lot of action this year unless there's a significant injury. With Portis getting 90% of the workload, Betts backing him up and Morton in on third downs, how many carries can you expect out of Rock? Obviously most of the time we'll see him on the field will be on special teams, but I can't remember where he stood out there either. JWsleep 09-07-2004, 02:56 PM For Rock, it's special teams and heart: both things Gibbs likes. He was looking for Redskins. As for Sultan, he better stop whining and practice hard, or he'll be gone from the league. That Guy 09-07-2004, 04:30 PM rock did short yardage last year, might do it again... betts and rock both had real game experience, and i think that really helped them... monk81 09-07-2004, 08:42 PM It's nice to see those lunch pail guys make it :) |
