I was surprised he wasn't going to play, not taking anything away from a broken finger, just seemed 4 weeks was way to long to be out. If Campbell did that, the threads would probably light up.
But why would Favre call another team's qb in the middle of the season??? would he do that if he had been in the NFC?
weird.

I think what this proves is that Zorn (or Gibbs for that matter) can stress ball security all they want, but if the QB's arm is hit, or a helmet hits the ball squarely, it's still going to come out.
What hasn't happened yet is that Jason Campbell hasn't thrown a ball into coverage that he shouldn't have thrown. And that's a huge advantage we have over other teams. Because teams that play us are throwing very interceptable balls, and if that trend continues we will dominate the turnover margin this season.
I have thought it has been kind of funny while Troy Aikman has been announcing our games he has talked about how well JC holds on to the ball in trafic and does not put it on the ground. Everytime I hear him say this I jus think back to all his fumbles last year. He is doing a better job of protecting the ball but I'm not ready to say he does a great job of not fumbling because of how many he had last year. Its like Aikman is just looking at what he has done over the past 6 weeks.

I was thinking about this the other day. All the wierd drills JZ ran last summer may have done some good. Specifically, look at the way JC handles himself under pressure in the pocket this year. Always looking downfield, maintaining focus on the play and not the whirlwind of activity around him. Maybe throwing blocking pads at him worked? It may have also helped him stay out of trouble thus far in general.

He's done a great job this year. Aikman has referenced the fact that in the past he didn't do a very good job at holding on to the ball.

On ESPN's NFC East Blog, it says Jerry Jones was catching Romo's passes before practice, and that JJ thinks Romo could play on Sunday. I am glad Snyder has pretty much learned to let the coaches coach!

I think Brett Favre could and has pulled off playing effectively with a broken finger....but Tony Homo is no Brett Favre. So I hope if he does play they break the rest of his fingers for being such a fool..

is'nt that the truth?i thought the league had some sort of rule BANNING the owners from the sidelines during the season except for emergencies?that old bastard is down there every week.he is also gonna be the one to decide if romo plays this week, not the coaches or doctors.that's bullshit!

Kinda tough to cover him since he's out of the league.
I'm guessing you meant Brian Westbrook of the Eagles.
