On the other hand, we won two games against conference opponents (Arizona and New Orleans) at home and two games, which almost no one thought we would win, against division opponents on the road. It certainly doesn't help to lose this game. Good teams win the games they're supposed to win. But, unless we start to free fall, this won't kill us. And we have far more important games than we've lost.

I had thought that Cleveland would be our trap game, but now I actually think we'll win the next three-including the Steelers game.

Yeah, me too. I was almost certain we'd have a poor showing vs. the Browns after punishing St. Louis. Hopefully it will just be the other way around.

Now that I've got your attention...

CHILL OUT

It's one game. Just like the Giants, Saints, Cards, Cowboys, and Eagles game were all just one game, respectively.

we won those

Honestly our pass protection needs to get better, and our pass rush MUST get better. The only way we could bring heat on Bulger was by blitzing DBs.

I hope you're right Smoot. Right now I am looking at our next two games against the Browns, and Lions as "must wins" we can't afford to lose to anymore teams that have no business beating us, and if we do we're in big trouble because it's going to be hard to keep pace in this extremely competitve division and conference.

We did look past them a little, But for real we got some bad breaks and bounces today, The Pete Kendall thing c'mon thats shit for the twilight zone, I think we still have a very good squad that will continue to improve, This bump in the road could be exactly what we need to get to the next level. Then next time we have a little more urgency and won't go 4 wide and leave Campbell to be killed. We will be fine again theres not a game that scares me till we get dallas again, But maybe that ones not so scary after all. Let's keep it together Go Skins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6 games into the season and the skins are 4-2. thats pretty good. turnovers got the better of the skins today, also the dropped ints by fletcher and landry didn't help.

Yeah, before today, this team hadn't recorded a sack in two games.

And, is it just me, or is Jason Taylor shaping up to be a ho-hum DE this year? Maybe he wasn't ready to come back from that injury. His presence hasn't exactly opened things up for Andre Carter either.

Seems like we have this problem year after year -- you've got to be able to get pressure from your front four without blitzing.

Did today's game scare you? Exactly.

I think the Redskins AND the fans would be well served to just take things one week at a time. I tried telling this to everyone when this site was being drenched in Kool Aid after last week's win. As far as The Warpath is concerned, hopefully it will be a lesson to all of those who keep looking ahead on the schedule and talking about 7-1... Worry about the game in front of you. Expectations are premeditated resentments.

I could care less about our next game against Dallas at this point. I'm focused on how we will respond to a bad, bad loss with another big opportunity to win at home next week.
