a big game out of Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly (if he's ready to go)
SKINS v Rams, What demontrates the next step taken?Warren85Ellard 10-10-2008, 07:22 PM a big game out of Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly (if he's ready to go) skinsfan_nn 10-10-2008, 07:27 PM Oh this is to easy....how bout just another WIN! Maybe a couple 3 sacks would be nice and if you are on the greedy side, win big lets say by 20+ But a WIN anyway we can get it will demonstrate the next step has been taken and achieved! 53Fan 10-10-2008, 08:23 PM A convincing win. If we beat these type of teams convincingly, I think it would show we are on another level. johnerotten 10-11-2008, 08:51 AM playing consistent on both sides of the ball and special teams the whole game long. play the rams as hard as you did the eagles and cowboys, and don't get cockey! HipHipHooray 10-11-2008, 09:44 AM As many of you said I just want to see the same consistency on both sides of the ball, and the mixture of fire, emotion, and playing smart. The true success for me will be if Moss and Randle El don't get a catch in the second half, or Portis doesn't gets a yard, because they are sitting on the bench with smiles on their faces watching Thomas, Kelly, and Betts play. Follow On Edit: Just noticed that since this is my first post I am classified as a Camp Scrub. I promise to work hard and not let the team down and maybe if I try hard I can make Special Teams....but I will be happy just getting on the Practice Squad. DirtyLandry 10-11-2008, 10:52 AM Don't discount the Rams too much. Last I checked they have a very good quaterback, runningback, wideouts and guys like Chris Long, Adam Carriker, Tye Hill and Corey Chavous on thier defense. Don't let the record fool you...they have a new coach, Bulger was named the starter again and these guys are playing for thier dignity. I still think there are only 1 or 2 teams better than us right now and the Rams are not one of them. Skins rise to 5-1 this Sunday. over the mountain 10-11-2008, 11:41 AM 1 - secondary continues to not blow coverage or allow big passing plays, theyve been great so far but alot of pressure is put on them individually to perform 2 - show they can pressure the qb using a 4 man front against a weak O-line 3 - continue to outcoach the other side, use the first half to set up big second half plays 4 - STAY HEALTHY!!!!!!! . . . .and medium. go skins!! cochise 10-11-2008, 06:41 PM A quick score on the opening drive, a three and out for them, then another TD will take any confidence they may build if we don't strike quick. We can't let them start to believe in their new coach and system. Pound Portis and Betts as their defensive line is pourous. memphisskin 10-11-2008, 08:23 PM I think this stretch is important because now the pressure is on us to not only win but to win big. We need to take advantage of opportunities in the red zone, force turnovers on defense, and play with poise. A blowout win would be the next step to me. SmootSmack 10-11-2008, 08:37 PM How about a shutout? |
