The open question is whether the bodyguard was someone whom Jones had hired, or whether the bodyguard was retained by the team to shadow and/or babysit Jones.

that was the best line in the whole article.i knew we could count on pacman to show his true colors eventually, the guys like a leopard unable to get rid of his spots.it would be great if TO threw a temper tantrun this week would'nt it?

And I love it. I hope the commish kicks him out of the league for violating his parole, I mean violating his nfl reinstatement stipulations.

Commish drops by Valley Ranch

According to sources close to the Beast, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell dropped by the Cowboys' practice facility Wednesday and visited with owner Jerry Jones and the players.

Goodell had been in San Antonio meeting with New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson, and he decided to stop over in Dallas to see some old friends. According to coach Wade Phillips, defensive tackle Tank Johnson gave the commissioner a standing ovation when he entered the room.

"Tank calls him Roger," joked Phillips. "I call him commissioner."

Aren't we having fun.

if Jones can cover up Micheal Irvin slitting someones throat than this should be easy for him to make go away

JONES SCUFFLED WITH HIS TEAM-ISSUED “BABYSITTER”
Posted by Mike Florio on October 8, 2008, 8:56 p.m. EDT
The Dallas Cowboys had no comment about the fight involving cornerback Pacman Jones because the team had no information about the incident. Well, if the team doesn’t have information about the situation, it simply hasn’t bothered to ask for it.

Per a league source, the “bodyguard” with whom Jones fought in the bathroom of a Dallas hotel was an off-duty police officer who has been hired by Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to babysit Pacman.

The source says that the problem started because the babysitter popped off to Jones’ female companion. Jones, who had been drinking, then started up with the guy, and it culminated in a scuffle.

Jones, we’re told, had marks on his face at practice on Wednesday.

It remains to be seen whether the Cowboys or the league will take any action about the situation.

This news isn't surprising. It was just a matter of time. The good thing is the Redskins don't have distractions like this guy, (and others), in their locker room. Thank Gibbs! The better news is that the cowpokes do. Thanks Jerry!
