Mainly because we do we have to start at his spot? Lott with Franz as a backup? Yikes. I'm not a big fan of Bowen myself but I wouldn't feel comfortable letting him go with what's behind him. Bowen signed a 4-year deal for 6 million - 1.6 million signing bonus. That's not too prohibitive if we want to cut him.
