First of all props to the Skins for an amazing win. I wont lie, I put this down as a loss beforehand, but I continue to get excited about the Skins.

But lets take a deep breath and realize barely 1/4th of the season is completed. We have a LONG way to go.

The next three games(Rams, Browns, @ Lions) are very winnable, but we could loose games we need to win. honestly I am scared about the Rams, they could win if we sleep on them, and I dont think they are that bad. Also I am not ready to mark the Browns as bad club, and by that time they might put in Quinn to mix things up.

Also for all the people who see the glass as half empty, post in this thread and this thread alone.

Some things we need to improve on:
-Special teams(mainly growing pains with Brooks)
-leaving points on the field, honestly guys we can put up 40+ per week, but silly mistakes hurt us.
-Defense not lining up on time. We got burned on a play while we taking forever to get set.
-Rogers, catch the ball! Otherwise you are amazing
-I still think JC sometimes takes a bit too long to pass, and he stares down receivers at times.

Man...2 hours after the game and your bringing the rain! (kidding)

One thing I like about JZ is he preaches keeping a level head to his players. Take it one play, game etc at a time. Like I said in the skins vs. boys thread cowboys downfall will be arrogance and that cockiness breeds complacency. I'd like to think this team will not have this problem. Players do not react like the fans do. They'll live it up today and tomorrow and the get back to work for the Rams who, by the way are coming off a bye and have nothing to lose. There is obviously a lot left out there on the field, but I think we'll overcome as we did today.

True

But it is Sunday let us enjoy this while we can.

We can face reality on Tuesday or Wednesday. This is the best i have felt this early in a while. We should be good every year but this year we are really playing well. We have 2 starters gone on D (J. Taylor and Springs) and we win. Last year and before we would lose with those 2 out.

I think the players share your sentiment based on the interviews I've heard - they all commented on how St Louis could be a dangerous team - new coach, well rested after their bye week, and hungry for their first win.

All we need is to win 2 of those 3 games, and we'll be on track for the playoffs. I'd prefer we win the Rams & Lions games since they will count against our NFC record in the playoff calculations.

Whos getting ahead of themselves...? We just finished winning four games in a row. You enjoy the moment! Get ready for work Wednesday!

This team is clearly staying very focused at the task at hand one team and game at a time, regardless of any media input or forecast. Thats just what you want!

Oh believe me I am happy, like I said let's keep the thread for people who a bit pessimistic. That way we dont bump heads in the threads where we are suppose to be happy. Complain here, praise there.

I wonder if the team itself will look past these next three games. Those 3 teams are 1-11 so saying we are gonna be 7-1 isn't cocky. We should be 7-1 and anything less at this point would be a major disappointment because we are better than all of those teams.

True, but in recent years, we've let the bad teams hang around. Lets see how the coach does in this "winnable" stretch. I dont think our team will look past these games with maybe the exception of Fred Smoot.
