Barring any team letdowns, I doubt we will be underdogs anytime soon.

I'll take the SKINS approach one game at a time!

We need 6 wins in 11 games to lock in the playoffs.
If they keep the fundamentals going HALF as good as they have, we should be in.
I see the Giants game being a game that could decide the Division champion.10 wins isn't going to lock up the playoffs this year. Not in the NFC at least.

PFT.com, Puts the SKINS in the leagues 'elite' ranks....huh. I'm surprised they can figure all this science out. LOL

Proving that they’re among the league’s elite teams, the Washington Redskins have crawled out of an early 14-point hole, scoring 23 straight points to lead the Eagles in Philly.
A win would push the ‘Skins to 4-1, and would drop the Eagles to 2-3.
It also would cap a stunning two-Sunday tour of the NFC East for the ‘Skins, in which they won on the road against the Cowboys and Eagles. Washington’s remaining three division games will be played at home.
Clinton Portis has 135 rushing yards and counting, and tight end Chris Cooley is over 100 yards receiving. Each have scored a touchdown.

Confidence is a funny thing...You play so much better than you may be when you have it. The problem is, that you play much worse than you really are when you loose it. We are playing with so much confidence right now that it's difficult to know how good we really are.
Don't get me wrong, I love the way the Skins are playing right now. We are a physically dominant team that is doing what it wants, when it wants, no matter what the other team does. My only concern is that 6 short weeks ago we had NO clue as to what kind of team we were and we played with zero confidence. I'm sure you all remember how depressing the coming season looked like back then! I just hope the Skins are not thinking about how "easy" the next few oponents seem to be and how nice 7-1 would be at the half-way split. The easiest way to loose confidence and slip back into playing bad football is to look past lesser teams or to dream about a record that's three weeks and 3 games away. If we play poorly at home and loose, all the great play in Dallas and Philly these last two weeks will be wasted. If we are a playoff team, we need to take care of business against lesser competition and especially at home. I love the attitude this team is playing with right now and I credit Zorn for everything this team has shown thus far. If they continue to listen to him and work to improve each game, no matter who we are playing, this has the potential to be a really exciting year. God knows all of us Skins fans have waited long enough for one of those.

I understand what you're saying, but I have a feeling if we start feeling overconfident, Zorn will put the ones feeling that way in their place. He can chew rear-ends with the best of them.

I know it's still relatively young in the season, but I'm lovin this stomping on the Eagles and Cowboys at their place... wow!
How the defense as played with young players contributing....fantastic!
JC, Portis, Moss , Cooley ...great! As fans after what we went through last year (RIP ST) we couldn't ask for much more, except for a long Giant losing streak.
