THIS is the best you have felt about the Skins since?

I got this from Doc, and Kevin on 980am, and thought it worthy.
I have not felt this positve about the Skins since Joe1. We are not there yet. BUT, it is the difference in hoping we can win , and knowing we can win.
Hoping we can contend with the Eagles, and knowing we can.
Hoping we can hang on to protect a lead, and knowing they can put up more!

they beat the bears 2 days after burying sean taylor.they felt destined to me after that.
maybe not last year,but definetley something in his memory.i think his spirit is with everyone of the players on that field at practice and every game.who knows maybe he
smacked the ball out of herd's hands on that onside kick sunday?

I'm only 25, so it's the best I've felt since 91. I was so youn then (8-9) that when they won the Super Bowl, I dug it, but not as much as I do now.

My older years, I have felt a lot of heartbreak and disappointment.

That could still come this year, but it certainly feels different.

Ever. I've only been following the team since 2001 though, so that might be the reason.

The most excitement in asingle game was the monday night miracle in 05. That was like...unreal.

Last I felt this level of optimism was probably the Bucs game, season opener for Gibbs 2.0. After seeing CP rip a 64 yd TD run first touch and beating a good team with solid play I thought we were going to automatically start winning superbowls.

since joe gibbs announced he was coming back to the skins in 2004.i don,t have that superbowl feeling as of yet but the feeling thus far thru 4 games feels great and i hope they can keep it going....if they return to form all the way then i will be tickled burgundy and gold for sure.

this is best i have felt since the last time we won the nfc east and maybe it to the second round of the playoffs...

This kind of Skins optimism is just asking for a smack down. I'm not ready to be so thrilled. Philly is only game 5... One day at a time.

With the way the team finished the regular season last year, I was feeling pretty good about their chances of making a deep playoff run.

As far as feeling this good about the team this early in the season, I'd have to go back to '99.

i havent felt this kind of optimism since the ole' ball coach came in and lite it up during the preseason, we all the know the rest of the story thoo.

Zorn is what I had hoped for in spurrier but without all the hype and hoopla. I have always felt we have had a solid D group so I guess having a coach who brings the possibility of revamping our offense excites me. i havent checked but im pretty sure after that spurriers first pre-season here people had very high expectations for the offense to become a point scorer to compliment our always solid D. itd be interesting to see what threads were started back in preseason compared to threads about 8 games into the season.
