Mainstream Media Power Rankings (Week 4)Giantone 10-02-2008, 05:30 PM I can't believe the Giants are #1. BELIEVE it BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!:goodjob: SmootSmack 10-02-2008, 06:58 PM Anyone who wants more Redskins coverage on ESPN should watch Sunday Countdown this weekend. Bluezz DC 10-02-2008, 10:27 PM I can't believe the Giants are #1. I'll give it to them, the Giants are playing the best "overall" football right now. If not them then who? Bluezz DC 10-02-2008, 10:37 PM Dallas still at #3 eh? They sure love them some Cowboys over at ESPN. What? Where should they be after one loss ranked last? Please. They loss a hard fought game but everybody saw the game. Eyes don't lie. I think that is the proper place for them. Sometimes teams have games like that when you come up against a good team that comes ready to play and you don't. It happens but they are unlikely to play that bad on defense again, especially Newman. They are 3-1, just like your team so where should they be ranked then? Now, when answering this question remember the strength of schedule these two teams played. SouperMeister 10-02-2008, 11:26 PM I'll give it to them, the Giants are playing the best "overall" football right now. If not them then who?Although the Giants barely defeated a very poor Cincinnati team. That to me isn't progress. That said, they handled us pretty well in the opener. InsanePianist 10-03-2008, 01:50 AM I like your signature. I noticed that too. I hope someone sacks him and he bites down on it. He looks like a gump when he does that..lol Haha I know. He's no MJ, I don't get it. InsanePianist 10-03-2008, 02:04 AM Showtime Sports - INFL - Insiders' Picks Week 5 (http://sports.sho.com/infl/picks.html) We are still being underestimated!!! I knew everyone wasn't on our bandwagon!!! Hey that's how we want it to be! If we beat the Eagles... well even if we don't win, we're still going to be favorites in the next 3 games after Philly. Look at ESPN.com's Expert Picks (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/features/talent?week=2&seasontype=2).. In the last 3 weeks, 4/24 total picks made for Washington's games were in favor of Washington. Who cares if anyone picks us to win? I'd rather all the experts look stupid than have them jump on the bandwagon. And screw that Wickersham guy, he'll be the only one to pick the Rams against us, I'm sure of it. Giantone 10-03-2008, 05:34 AM Although the Giants barely defeated a very poor Cincinnati team. That to me isn't progress. That said, they handled us pretty well in the opener. You win the games your suppose to.Alot of teams play..either up or down to the ability of the opponent...when you're playing the World Champions ....isn't that what you are suppose to do?:twocents: dmek25 10-03-2008, 09:30 AM who gives a rats ass? these rankings are like political polls. don't really add up to a hill of beans Bluezz DC 10-03-2008, 01:46 PM Although the Giants barely defeated a very poor Cincinnati team. That to me isn't progress. That said, they handled us pretty well in the opener. This is the NFL. All of these guys are paid to win. How many times have we seen teams that are supposed to be blown out either play it to the last minute or just win in a upset altogether. I've learned not to overlook any NFL team anymore, years ago. Games can be difficult for you too when you are a target with that SB Champ label on your back. Everybody wants a piece of the Champ. |
