Be glad. The longer we can keep up this image, the better. There is NO question that the point spread and the negative media was a big motivator in the locker room. I've long since stopped caring about this issue.
Agree about Aikmen-- he's among the best commentators and Buck is a pro.

I haven't watched anything today, but after the highlights last night on SC all the talk seemed to be focused on the Cowboys.
Redskins Hold Off Late Cowboys' Rally; Win 26-24 - ESPN Video (http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/video/videopage?videoId=3614956&categoryId=2459789&n8pe6c=2)
Yeah, I didn't much like that. And let me just say some people here were pretty vocal about that when they came into work this morning. (I wasn't one of them, but some pretty high profile names were basically like "let's not make this about TO again").
The biggest challenge with Sunday night recaps (particularly online recaps) is highlight limitations. There are extensive Redskins highlights in today's segments.

Anyone else hear the story of how our locker room was over 90 degrees (the AC wasn't working, despite it being nice and cool in Dallas' locker room)? Or how one of our sideline cool blowers was "malfunctioning?" Bull shit. Nice try Dallas.
Throw on Doc Walker. The national media has a pathetic love affair with their Dallas Darlings. I'm tired of it. Jaws gives us props though.
I wonder if we could bring our "Z-SHADES" to road games for instances like this.. or any other cooling equipment. is it legal for us to bring our cooling fans etc..

The only person that i heard give us props was none other then Troy Aikmen. He is by far the most neutral commentator out there.
But he does have a hard-on for Clinton Ports
really? I know i can recall him praising portis...
anyway as far as the media goes... f'em. It's going to take more than that win for anyone to really look at us as a contender. I understand that. I love what I'm seeing from this team and that' not going to change after we lose our next game no matter what the outcome... (it will change if we drop 4-5 in a row lol...) the media doesn't have to see it for us to love it... i think it really adds to the reward we get as fans from our team winning despite being written off by the media...

Right. Did you also notice that all of the highlights were the Cowboys' touchdowns with maybe one Redskins' one thrown in?
I was thinking the same thing. This morning they were talking about our win,
but showing Romo's pass to Whitten for the TD.
One analyst even said we should be talking about how well Redskins played instead of T.O.'s meltdown. This just shows the media loves the Cowboys, especially now that Brady is done for the year.

Like I said in another thread, I don't want all this attention. We don't need all the radio and T.V shows talking about how good we are, and that we are the team to beat. Let the team focus on the next game, and not all the hype.

Anybody else really like Trent Dilfer on NFL Live/Primetime? I think he does a great job. I always liked him as a player, and IMO he's spot on as an analyst. And for the record he made his breakdown today much more about what the Redskins DID as opposed to what the Cowgirls DIDN'T do.

Keyshawn on Sportscenter just asked why are we talking about Dallas when they just lost? And everyone began talking over him, saying Dallas is America's team and wouldn't let him express himself. It looks like Keyshawn just stepped on the mothership's toes over the air. There's a man whose not afraid.
