I gave him a 5. Considering he has essentially the same O that Gibbs couldnt do anything with, what he's done in so short an amount of time is amazing.

From day ONE, JZ has inspired the feeling that he had "IT". I totally believe that is why DanVin interviewed him 18 times and finally did what was scorned and called "the only guy they could get" blah, blah. He has the IT.
Admittedly, after the Giants game, I thought it might be a while before he fine-tuned "it".
He is ahead of schedule!
The thing that is the most fun for me. With all the remarkable things they are doing (that we are all seeing), I can ONLY believe that both he and the team are still in their infancy, and have JUST BEGUN to gather momentum.
Just like a big ass storm. I have no idea when they will peak, but I think it will be a real good time!

4. great wins so far. lets hope he can keep it up. right now all we know is that we're not going undefeated and we're not going to be 2-14. it's early in the season...

I am extremely impressed w/ Zorn. I was EXTREMELY skeptical at first, but now I'm starting to see the light.

Me so Zorny. 5.

Aside from the "new coach smell" we saw in the first game, he's been absolutely brilliant since then.

I had my doubts about Jim Zorn when he was first named head coach. At that time I would have given him a 2. After the first pre-season game it went up to a 3. After the two pathetic performances against the Panthers and the Jaguars his rating dropped back to 2 and stayed there after the Giants season opener. The offense is progressing nicely and his ranking raised to a 3 after the impressive Saints and Cardinal victories. The play calling in the Cowboys game was fabulous. He kept the Cowboys defense off-balanced. He had a good mix of run and pass plays. He closed the game out by going to the run game and burning 7 minutes of clock and getting the decisive field goal. He gets a solid 4.

I have liked the Zorn hiring since day 1. He's a blast of fresh air and ideas (especially in comparison to who preceeded him). I really hope he succeeds.

5, and the rest of the comment is just here to make my opinion long enough to post.

I'm giving him a 4 only because I'm just one of those people that hate giving out perfect scores... but Zorn is certainly deserving right now.
