Here is my top 10 power poll after week 3. (note the Jets / SD game has no influence on the top ten, therefore I can make my list tonight)

1- Denver This team has been impressive top to bottom. They are extremely explosive and the D is pretty good even though they have let up 84 points thus far. Cutler has figured it out, and it doesn't matter if it's Young, Hall, or Pittman running the ball, they can do what they want, when they want.

2- Dallas :vomit: I know no one wants to see them this high, but in all fairness, they could easily be #1. I thought about 1a and 1b. There are confident, they are explosive, they are just plain good. When they make mistakes, it's no big deal, they come back the next play and shove it down teams throats! We have quite a challenge ahead of us.

3- Tennessee Now that VY is not starting, this team shows that they are for real. They have a great running game, and they have the best D in the business right now letting up only 29 points in 3 games. Jeff Fisher does not get enough credit for being a good head coach.

4- NY Giants This is one of the few teams that could sustain losing both DE's and still have a good D. No one, including myself, gave them a chance to succeed, and they are. The offense is solid, and the d is surprisingly good.

5- Philadelphia I actually think that the Eagles are better than the Giants, but due to the fact that the Giants are 3-0 and SB champs, they get the nod. Phily when healthy is a tough team to stop, and while they are enjoying a top 5 rating right now, McNabb hurt his shoulder and Westbrook hurt his ankle. Westbrook will likely miss next week (as early reports are saying) this will likely hurt their stature.

6- Buffalo I don't feel this team is for real, but for now, they are showing moxie.

7- Pittsburgh This is a tough team that lost to a tough team. No shame in that.

8- Washington :point: Green Bay might be better than us, but right now, we're pretty close to even IMO. The maturation of Campbell allows this to happen.

9- Green Bay Rodgers is better than I thought he would be. I guess the Packers knew what they were doing after all.

10- Arizona Finally the Cards are living up to the hype. They have a strong offense, and their D is nothing to sneeze at. This should be a playoff year for them.

How can you have Philly ahead of Dallas when Philly lost to Dallas?

Although, I disagree with you, I like your analysis of the top NFL teams because you make some interesting choices, to say the least.....Denver and Tennessee are just plain way too high and having Philly ahead of Dallas is not logical, as "WaldSkins" said.

My top 10 (um 12, had to hard of a time narrowing it down on the back end):
#1 Dallas (Obviously, I hate to say this, but a win at Green Bay proves it)
#2 NY Giants (Not impressive against Bungals, but impressive when it counted most)
#3 Philly (To much balance on both sides of the ball not to put them this high)
#4 Pittsburgh (Loss to Philly is not indicative of what they can do in AFC)
#5 Denver (The penchant to win close games is sign of good team and the AFC West is weak)
#6 Buffalo (3-0 is 3-0 and wins against Seattle and J'Ville are no joke)
#7 Tenn (Dismantling the Texans shows this 'D' is pretty good)
#8 49ers (If Martz keeps the 'O' Rolling, watch out, Willis is a monster a ILB, this team could go higher in the coming weeks)
#9 Washington (2 straight wins in close games merit a single-digit rating for a team that looks like it is finding an identity)
#10 Jacksonville (A tight win at Indy tells me you should throw out the record + watch out!)
#11 Green Bay (good team, but there will be growing pains with Rogers at the helm)
#12 Baltimore (Flacco does not need to try lead a high powered 'O', he needs to play like Trent Dilfer did in 2000 and trust the 'D' + the running game)

How can you have Philly ahead of Dallas when Philly lost to Dallas?Because they played each other, and Philly looked like the better team at Dallas?

Denver needs to play some defense to warrant a top spot.

I'm slowly getting on the Tennessee bandwagon as well. I like the Lendale White/Chris Johnson combo. Add that to an absolutely nasty defense and a qb that hasn't had a lobotomy and you've got a pretty damn solid team, seemingly built for the playoffs.

I don't see Brian Griese leading Tampa Bay too far into the post season (or even that far...) It's very possible that the Saints win that division.

Did you watch the entire game? Dallas' defense shut the Eagles down in the second half. Granted the Eagles are better than the redskins and Giants but they have beat Dallas first. The NFC East and NFC runs through Dallas. Deal with it!
