but I am sure some expensive free agents will be available in the offseason and next year will be different.

I understand your pessimism. But I think that Dannyboy has learned a lot. This year we had 20 of our top 22 starters returning, 10 draft picks and with the exception of Jason Taylor (a neccesity) we didn't overpay for any free agents like many other teams did. Zorn is an experiment, but we have a potent, innovative offense and we're 2-1 against 3 very good teams...If this is any indication we are looking good for the future. I'm not expecting to make the playoffs this year, but things are looking up.

I appreciate the up attitude, but when do you say enough. What is Dan's total record since taking over the ship?

I don't say "enough" when we've gone the playoffs 2 of the last 3 years in the toughest division in football and are off to a 2-1 start.

Also, FYI, we welcome you if you want to engage in thoughtful discussion. If, however, you came here to troll, expect not to last too long.

Dan's not a coach, just so you know

I have done nothing but discuss my view on the team in a civil way, nothing out of line whatsoever......

for a football forum we sure have some thin skin. it appears as if rah rah is all you want. I think this team has some serious issues starting at ownership and coaching staff, thats all I am saying. Seems constructive to me.... unless anything other than how great they are is trolling.

geez

I think its hard to see your thoughtful discussion when all you drop is one liners, that just seem to come off the top of your head. You have no supporting information.

There are a lot of objective fans on this site. You aren't the first and certainly wont be the last. I think you just need to acknowledge that maybe Dan has learned from his mistakes and is trying to right the ship. Zorn was not a sexy hire...it was a smart one. Joe Gibbs was a practical nobody when he was given the head coaching job.

but I also know where I am not welcome and will not force the issue.

enjoy each other....

I meant it when I said that you are welcome here, provided you have a genuine interest in thoughtfully discussing issues related to the Redskins. You are not the only person on this board who dislikes Snyder. Moreover, it's fine to criticize the team and/or Snyder if you do it in an intelligent and thoughtful way.

I merely cautioned you against trolling because we get a lot of trolls on this board and your previous posts were one-liners with little substance (i.e., classic troll posts). I could be wrong and maybe you are not trolling. If that's the case, I apologize for sounding a little harsh.

Don't you guys get the feeling that the Skins are not intimidated by playing the Cowboys and the Giants under Zorn than they were with Gibbs II?

This team seems to be comfortable taking advantage of their breaks and cashing in on the other teams turn-overs. Just wondering what the Jason Taylor lost will do for our pass rush.

As much as I hate Dallas I doubt if we'll be able to contain them for the simple reason that we don't have anyone in our secondary that can match up with TO. Sean was the guy that kinda allways kept TOs head on a swivel and the fear that he instilled in him showed on the field. We all "hate to love" TO but he is indeed the best reciever in the game. Had TO played in that week 17 game at FedEx last year the outcome would have been different. Sean missed the first game in Dallas and TO showed off with 3TDs and didn't even care about anyone on our defense. Count on TO being Springs' responsibility next week...which doesn't sound too good considering that TO has always had Springs number (going back to his days in Seattle, ie. Sharpie). Unless we find out what Green Bay did to stop him, look forward to our secondary getting man handled. This one could very well be a shootout
