Great call. Perfect!

One thing I do wonder, why didn't we try a pass on third down? There was 2:05 on the clock and the Saints called a time out... and they stacked the line. Almost all NFL plays take 5 seconds so, run or pass, the clock stops after the play.

Anyway, when things work like they did, there is no reason to second guess! Just wondering if I am the only one that thought about the third down pass option...

I thought that one play was thread worthy. Tell me you didn't love that call and execution.

Yeah, it looked like we wanted to win. Great job all around in the 2nd half.

I thought that was the only call to make there. It was too long for a FG and too short for a punt. And as for the slant the defensive formation made it possible for it to work. I bet the play call was made at the line by Campbell. He probably had the option to run or pass (at least I hope that's what happened)

Well, that was FRPLG point, on 4th down an incomplete pass is the same thing as a stopped run. Maybe the run takes a few more seconds off the clock but not many.

If they can get Kelly 100% and up to speed, they can run that play almost at will with his body size

Was definitely the right call to go for it. Pass or run doesn't matter as the clock would stop on a change of possesion either way.

FG would have been the worst option as it puts them up by 8 and gives the Saints a chance to tie the game. A big return and the skins could be in trouble.

Punting wouldn't have been terrible, but it likely would have been a touchback. It would only be a 15 yard difference if they do not make the first down, so might as well go for it.

Although if a LB or CB jumped the route and took it back all the way the stadium might have been burned to the ground and I don't even want to think about what it would be like in this place!!!!
