Good read:
Read the headlines coming out of DC, and you think Jason Campbell and Washington's new West Coast offense are doomed. But despite the team's struggles in its season opening loss to the Giants, I'm telling you that all the Skins need is a little patience (with apologies to Axl).

A new offense with a young qb looking flat on the road against the defending champs? Definitely time to panic.
I'm neither beholden to Zorn nor Campbell, I just think we need to give them more than one week to prove what they can do.

Patience that the media, analysts & fans will not give JZ, JC or the organization as a whole.

anything you are'nt used to doing is'nt gonna come without learning curves, adapting a new style of football is'nt any different than retraining at the same place to do a different job.in time, this will be a better team.some of the drills zorn puts the team through are really precise, and they will eventually learn to be a lot better at fundamentals.every team that i have seen do that, has eventually became a winning team.

Great article. Unfortunatly patience is a virtue that seems to be lacking among our fans. Hopefully the front office has learned something about the value of patience. Given a chance, this team will win.

I think we have been patient the last couple years when it comes to JC.

I agree 100%. It's going to take 2 years, imo. If you give a HC less than two seasons you are just wasting time.
I like Merrel Hoge. He's a good read. Honest. Good football sense

good article. It supports my idea that we need to be patient and relax....the sky hasnt fell yet....Its been one game and with a injury riddled team coming to fedex sunday I like our chances.
