did you watch the saints game last week? this isn't the same old defense. the additions of vilma, ellis, mccray, glenn and others have brought a new found and very welcomed attitude to the d. they will get in your face and knock you down. don't expect too have a easy go at it like normal.

1. i doubt yall will be able to get too drew without blitzing. we have a great pass blocking line (fewest sacks given up past 2 seasons) and drew is very very aware. yall will have to send the occasional blitz too get too drew.

2. again, this is nolonger a mediocre defense. they will be in the redskins face all game long. the corners will stay glued to the recievers, and campbell will spend the day on the ground.
but i'm yet too figure out why the corners play so far back on 3rd down???

1. I thought that NO ran a cover 2. So you are saying that guys will be out of position?

2. You guys don’t have half the pass rush that is present in our NFC East opponents. You got 2 sacks last week against TB, Wahoo, try that shit up here!

3. In all reality you only got one turnover at the end of the game which made up for the one that you guys lost.

4. Your D still allowed 351 yards of offense. What should scare you most about that stat is that 145 of those yards were on the ground as a result of only 19 carries (7.6YPC). Hell, Earnest Graham averaged 9 YPC.

So don’t come up in here talking about how Jason Campbell is going to be on the ground all day, or how your corners are going to stick to our receivers, because you don't know.

In light of everything I just said I still pick NO to win.

1. They have a very consistent offense that eventually will score points.

2. Our offense right now is lethargic enough to lose to NO's defense. (Even with a good running game)

The Saints D gave up a lot to a mediocre Bucs offense. This bodes well for us since we don't have all cylinders firing yet. Even if our offense doesn't play their best, they should still be able to put up points. Earnest Graham, Warrick Dunn and Jeff Garcia ran for 146 yards! Garcia also threw for 221 wit a TD. Garcia was even playing through an injury and is benched for Week 2! :D

Were they chasing Earnest Graham so they could knock him down after his gashing runs? You guys had a home opener against a division opponent and your "new and improved non-medicore" defense got lit up by a very average offense. Your LB's looked flat and this supposedly improved front 4 allowed over 7 yards per run against Tampa- they don't have an OL or RBs as strong as ours. Plus you're coming to our house.

I know you want to stand up for your team, and that's cool. But face it, the New Orleans Saints are NOT a physical football team, and have a rather soft defense until you prove otherwise. Not trying to hate, just stating facts.

I think that we should win by about 3 points. The offense improves this week and the defense continues on its track of dominance. Besides NO running game isn't like the Giants they are really more of a pass first type of team. We should be able to generate pressure on Brees and force some turnovers.

This would be a good week to get our passing attack going. Saints passing D is weak. A good game from our line in pass blocking would be a big plus. Let's do it.

The Saints D isn't great, but their front four is pretty impressive. Granted, they sacked Garcia just twice, but they were up in his junk all afternoon.

That's a mental image I didn't want to see SGG! ;)

Their pass rush looked pretty good, but at the expense of stopping the run. They got gashed on the ground (146 yards- at home).

And it looks like a rookie corner (Tracy Porter) will be covering Santana.

I don't know if we'll win, but I think the offense can make some nice progress.

Sorry guys, I thought the Gmen would win by 13 last week and was close. NO will win this game by the same type of margin I predicted last week against the Gmen. Saints win 27-14. The Saints do indeed look better on D, and even without Colston, have a lot of talent to work with. Unless our O can get out of its funk, I just don't see a W on Sunday. Our D will keep this a respectable game though.
