thought this was interesting... it's a view of the respective fanbases from a sports marketing perspective...
The Final Score (http://weblogs.newsday.com/sports/columnists/jimbaumbach/blog/2008/09/break_out_the_vodka_if_the_gia.html)
If you think that sports fans are stats-obsessed then you should see some of the numbers that sports marketers watch.
For instance, Giants fans are more likely to celebrate a victory with vodka while the alcoholic beverage of choice for Redskins fans would be cognac.

All I can say is that I have been a Redskins fan for a long time and I have never celebrated a win with a shot of Louis.

At least Redskins' fans have more taste in adult drinks than Giants fans.
I thought Giants fans would be more into something like keystone lite

The thing that sucked about my college (not really sucked, but you know) was that There was a ton of skins fans...but there were a lot of Eagles/Giants fans cus there were alot of students from Philly/Jersey/New York.
So alot of my great frineds from school are Giants and Eagles fans. I wouldn't say they love their teams any less than I love mine. They just suck balls b/c of they teams they route for.
