We've banned all previous coach icons

LOL. I sure hope Matty doesn't get upset that I've revealed some of the secrets behind the Gibbs icon...punishment is being locked in a room listening to Daseal read passages from "Quotable Spurrier: The Nerve, Verve, and Victorious Words of and about Steve Spurrier"

You know what's sad? I've actually read a book that has a bunch of Spurrier quotes in it. I think my dad owns it.

Someone actually wrote them down?

I thought they'd just be scribbled in the dirt somewhere along with his ball plays.

Byner has spoken highly of McCullough, and I think we will keep him. I don't think all the talk about the importance the Redskins place on durability is a smoke screen - I think that betts is going to be traded or cut.

If Betts was the number one backup and then he's out, who is going to be the guy we rely on? Rock is cool, Simon's solid, but are they the guys we want to depend on in crunch time if Portis is out?

I think we will rely on McCullough as the top backup. If we do release him, he will be an excellent player for another team and I think we'll regret it. Portis only got 17 carries a game in Denver, and he'll get one third more in DC, but we will still need to spell him, and we will want someone who can do things that look similar - and McCullough's the man for that in my opinion.

I expect the Redskins not to look at who was drafted where and will keep McCullough.

McCullough has done nothing to be kept over the other RB in my oppinion . He has picked up yards mostly against second and third teams. Somone has to do that but because he has not really steped up into the starter role then i think that speeks volumes in terms of his survivability.

Byner has spoken highly of all the backs, but somebody has gotta go

all these guys are comparable in running effectiveness, which is to say just ok, not great. no one stands out except maybe Betts. we should keep the guy who has the best other abilities like pass blocking and catching for 3rd down. if someone is alot better at this than Betts, then we should keep them instead. he's way too unreliable.

in the end, i think we will be better off with betts as the backup, he played very strong, mccolouch plays against 3rd stringers. PS material at best IMO

mcollough hasn't taken a snap with the first string, and he's a worse version of what portis can do... not only that, portis CAN play every down if needed...
