Have faith, don't scare Dan.

Admittedly,

I was as frustrated yesterday as ive been with the 'skins in a long time. Yes, i demanded Jason Campbell's head on a platter. And then i focused my anguish on Zorn.

I have a different perspective today. The voices reminding us that it's a rookie head coach in his opening act against the Super Bowl champs are right.

Remember when Fassel was almost the coach? I do, and i remember how vehement the opposition to that was. And then Dan, presumably hearing our cries, went a different direction. Don't abuse the privilege.

Don't overreact all at once. He'll hear you, and then we'll be stuck in this perpetual attrition torture of coaches, and personel. I've put my faith in our head coach, and im holding my impatience at bay, for now...

Nice confession Monk!
Interesting you mention Jim Fassel. On the Doc Walker show today out of DC, they were discussing the rumor as to why Fassel did not get the job in DC. They said the rumor was, Fassel thought Jason Campbell could not do the job. They suspected that was a problem with the local power guys.
Anyway.............

I can't believe how people are reacting to one loss. Do you honestly think we won't get better? The patriots won a lot of games last year. The giants lost the first 2. Whose fans do you think are happier? No we did not look good. I've got news. We are going to lose again and when we do, we won't look good then either. We never look good when we lose, but I seriously doubt we will ever go through a year undefeated. I believe we have some good people (COACHES and PLAYERS). I'm not ready to run them out of town before they have a chance to make adjustments. Good thing we did'nt get rid of Gibbs when he went 0-5 his first year huh?

I do appreciate the priviledge of having an owner who cares what we think. The only thing I hope is that the veteran players stay on board with JZ and not create dissention amongst themselves. It will take at least two out of three wins to keep the hounds off of Zorn.

Well that would not have ended well, I mean look at what happened with Gibbs and Patrick Ramsey. Gibbs didn't like Ramsey and pulled him out of the starting lineup the second he was able to and stuck in ol' #8, instead of trying to develop Ramsey. Now I'm not saying the Ramsey was a great QB, I mean he was still shell shocked from the Spurrier era, but Gibbs should have taken the time to develop Ramsey.

So you guys think Zorn is a better coach then Fassel....in all aspects of the game?

I'd prefer Zorn even after wk1 loss. Stability is what this team needs. It's what it needed at the end of the season last year. Hopefully Dan is smart enough to let it go a season or two. Needed Improvements are many. And the tough games just keep coming. If the Redskins don't toughen up they'll be 0-6 really fast. We can all forgive 0-5, but 0-6 is perhaps mutiny level dissent.

Maybe, but Ramsey has had other oppurtunities and proved Joe's decision correct

I didn't actually say that, but, yes if not today he will be, I am very happy we did not hire Fassel or any other retread. JZ will be fine. He's a rookie
