But Hess that wasn't after a game. You can say what you want. You're a grown up. I'm over it and I'm moving on.
... Actually, after I thought about it, I don't think I said that.. so I think you are wrong, or you are taking in out of context. However, I have said plenty of other things that I'm sure people don't like at times. Oh well. Anyway, onward and upward....

I am not making excuses for anyone.
If JC can't find an open receiver he needs to run more (WRs need to creat some separation).
The WRs need to work on their YAC if they can't get to the 1st down marker on 3rd down.
the Dline needs to tighten up in the middle. The giants ran up the middle like it was butter.
Zorn needs to call better plays and manage the game quicker.
JC needs to make quicker decision but he by no means lost us the game.
WRs need to fight for the ball and make the catch before they run.
Our rookie WRs need to get their shit togther and produce.
Our o-line needs to block better on run and passing plays.
Well with the way JC played its hard to tell if we have the other issues on O that you pointed out. The line blocked OK on passing plays but JC held the ball too long. On the first play he was starring at Moss while one WR stood right in the middle of the field wide open then JC rolled right into the sack. I also think this loss has to be put on JC because of his play.

I saw that too.
I watched the game for the third time last night and that play is really burned in my mind becuase he does not pan the field at all.
If he did he would have noticed Yoder sitting between LBer zones and also if he panned further to his left he could have used Portis as a checkdown in the flats.
Instead Campbell locks on between Moss and Cooley on the right side and even rolls himself towards oncoming defenders who evetually sack him.
You need to sling it in this offense and Campbell looks way too tentative when he drops back. Watching Campbell hold on the ball too long the rest of the game made me start to debate a change at QB.

Very disappointing.
I believe Zorn learned a lot of lessons in this game and will correct them. I saw an interview this weekend on CSN with Zorn. He admitted he called too many runs, didn't get past the markers for first down, lost track of the clock and saw the O-line problem (Heyer). He took the blame for everything and said he learned what he (and the team) need to work on.
We WILL improve.
I expect a much better showing vs. the Saints. Smoot and Springs are expected to be back.
The defense played pretty well except for the dropped INTs. We held them to nothing in the second and only 1 TD all game. London Fletcher was a monster, 17 tackles!
Some reasons to be optimistic about the future and the season:
Gibbs started 0-5.
Also, every other time the Giants have won the Super Bowl, the REDSKINS won the following season!
SB XXI - Giants beat Broncos
SB XXII - Redskins beat Broncos
SB XXV - Giants beat Bills
SB XXVI - Redskins beat Bills
So we'll beat the Patrio...oh wait, they're finished now. :D
