Moving article on the hole left by Seans death both to the team as a whole and as individuals.

Great article. I get so mad and sad at the same time when I think of how early he was taken from this world. Reading how Laron started crying when he heard of Sean's death, asking "who's going to take me home," brought the tears right back.
Dammit I hope we lay it all on the line tonight. What a statement it would be to start the Zorn era with a win against the defending champs.

Man that is a really powerful article. I honestly will never forget waking up in the morning out on the west coast the day after Sean was shot when my phone started ringing. I looked at the caller and it was one of my DC boys. I picked up the phone and said "He died?" My friend just said "Yeah" and at the time I just felt like his story was all over, but I don't feel that way anymore.

When I was at Canton during the pre-game they did a piece on ST on the Jumbotron. Everyone was warming up and I am sure various people were standing listening. I was in the 6th row on the Redskins side, and I was moving around to try to see Zorn, and some others, when I looked onto the field, I saw Dan Snyder was around mid field and his eyes were fixed on the screen, as reverent as a person could be by his body language. No big show about it, but that shot struck me as a moment where Dan revealed a deeper part of how much he cares. ST will be in the Skins legends forever, but I also will never knock Snyder, for all the dumb moves or whatever, he cares and that scene touched my heart, as a Skins fan, and as a person.

Everytime I learn more about the mentoring relationship that Sean had with Landry, I feel even more strongly that they would have developed into the greatest safety tandem ever. Lord, what could have been.

It's late and I'm very upset about the Giants game so I decided to occupy my mind with something else. I took Sean Taylors stats from his games played in a Skins uniform and superimposed them over the course of 155 NFL games or basically a nine to ten year career:
155 - games played
33 - ints
851 - tackles
3 - Def td's
