Sean was only getting better, we could have used him tonight and in every game from now. I remember how when he got hurt and the other team would make a big pass play against and I would say to myself just wait until Sean comes back. He never came back, but I think I will be saying at every pass for the rest of my life, "would not have happened is ST were here". I remember the night before he died i stayed up all night when good news came across that increased his chances of living I was so sure he would pull through then and I woke up he was gone. hollow was the way I felt and when I think about him its like a piece of me is missing. Never was I excited to see a player play as when Sean did. I could not forget him if I tried.

It's late and I'm very upset about the Giants game so I decided to occupy my mind with something else. I took Sean Taylors stats from his games played in a Skins uniform and superimposed them over the course of 155 NFL games or basically a nine to ten year career:
155 - games played
33 - ints
851 - tackles
3 - Def td's
Good to see you on here capn.
We coulda used "Teezy" all last season, and last night.
Its gonna be hard to not say, "Had Taylor been playing, he woulda picked off that pass." Unfortunately, the hardest thing about moving on, is moving on.
Sean Taylor will be missed.

awesome article....we obviously all knew how CP and santana feel about sean and how they will never forget him i mean he was their boy. But i really found it interesting how it affected LaRon. I knew it had to have some effect on him but this really filled me in. Its real sad bc you could tell fromt he article LaRon and sean were developing a close relationship. When you watch LaRon play, you see Sean, not just the style of play but the swagger that LaRon carries, the mean streak, just the pure attitude of not caring who it is and knocking the piss out of them and talking that trash. In the article LaRon says of course he wants to be like Sean, but will never be as good. Like Portis said 'Dirty Thirty" is no SeanT, nobody is, but he is the damn closest thing to him. I truly believe in what CP, santana, and LaRon believe that sean is still here with us. Everything will work out he will guide this team. Rip Sean T

Anyone else wonder what would have happened if ST hit Brandon Jacobs (instead of Landry)?

I think he would have rocked him. Did ST ever run into someone that got the better of him?
Landry seemed to pull up slightly and he just wasn't smart with how he tried to take him on.

I think so too. ST just knew how to take people down, regardless their size. Now, I'm not saying he would have laid Jacobs out like a punter in the All Star game, but I'm pretty confident Jacobs' run would have stopped right there.

It would have been one hell of a collision that's for sure.

ST would have speared that f#$%er, then clubbed him upside the head when the ref wasn't looking... no one ever got the better of sean.
TO vs WAS w/ sean - quiet game, 60 yards, a lot of TO whining about taking unfair shots.
TO vs WAS w/o sean - 4 TD debacle :/.
just saying... he was the ultimate TO/randy moss/CJ defense, and i'm still mad we won't ever see his best years. those hoodrats better rot.
