He got kicked in the leg in practice the other day. He SHOULD be fine.

He's played through worse. I think he'll be out there.

X-rays negative. It just swelled up. I think he is just a fragile guy. I've never heard of someone getting kicked so hard that it swelled up to such some levels but didn't get broke. Some people have lemon bodies and get dinged very easily. He is one I think. He seem to be able to play thorugh much of these issues though. It's unfortunate because be doesn't credit for how good he is.

FRPLG you're pretty off there. Springs has an outstanding ability to play through these "minor" injuries, and being an athlete myself I can tell you first hand that bone and muscsle bruises are not as minor as they sound.

I said he plays through it. I am talking about the physical nature of his body. Some people's bodies are more fragile. They have to make up for that fragility with toughness. Springs does. Compare him to a Brett Favre who never seems to get nicked quite like this. It simply comes down to physiology. I am not saying he is injury prone and never plays.

/agree on this. I got kicked in the side of the shin playing rugby and would up w/ a bruise from knee to ankle - very painful, but went away in 10 days ish.
