I wish we wouldnt have cut him. rypper11 08-31-2008, 01:35 PM Knew he wouldn't be out there long. dall-assblows 08-31-2008, 02:02 PM good for him Jamaican'Skin 08-31-2008, 02:05 PM Happy for the kid. Hoped we could've kept him. Could've been our next RB SFREDSKIN 08-31-2008, 02:13 PM The Ravens got a steal, if I was them I promote him to the 53 man roster before another team steals him. I say watch Mason to become the starter sometime this year or next year, mark my words. The man has starting RB talent. JWsleep 08-31-2008, 02:17 PM The man crush thing over Mason should be tempered with the fact that he has trouble pass blocking. That's a big liability in the NFL, especially if you run any kind of spread offense. That said, I'm happy for Mason: Balt. is a good spot for him, given their shaky depth at RB. Plus, he's an area guy, so it's a nice fit for him. He's works hard and is by all accounts a great teammate. PS We can still grab him off the Raven's PS if we need him before the Ravens do, for what it's worth. 12thMan 08-31-2008, 03:10 PM Another thing, it's not like we're exactly thin at running back. Trust me, when mid-season rolls around and we're a little nicked up, Rock Cartwright all of a sudden looks like a gem. In the end, it really was a numbers game. I think it had more to do with the need for depth at other positions than it did about Mason not being good enough to make the team. EXoffender 08-31-2008, 03:59 PM I'm still scratching my head about him not putting himself in a position to return kickoffs...
