FRPLG 08-25-2008, 01:39 PM Sinclair Is Released - Redskins Insider (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/2008/08/sinclair_is_released.html) Man we are thin a LB. Really thin. freddyg12 08-25-2008, 02:01 PM given his injuries it makes sense, otherwise it looked like he was in great position to earn a job. For the vet min. crowd (which includes me from time to time), it may be time to check the waiver wire for some backup LBs! 70Chip 08-25-2008, 02:07 PM Insert Lavar Post Here: wilsowilso 08-25-2008, 02:09 PM Sinclair isn't really and nfl caliber LB anyways I mean who are we kidding. He is just a little too slow and doesn't have huge instincts to make up for that. He was a solid citizen and he was probably at least 50/50 to make the team. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise. It's not like someone in the front office isn't watching the waiver wire like a hawk 24/7 just praying a solid linebacker gets released from a LB heavy team. JoeRedskin 08-25-2008, 02:12 PM Sinclair Is Released - Redskins Insider (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/2008/08/sinclair_is_released.html) Man we are thin a LB. Really thin. It's a little late, but I wonder if Chris Wilson could be converted to an outside LB. It would keep a moderately talented guy on the team in an area of need. Of course, if he can't play/cover in space it would be pointless. Just a thought. T.O.Killa 08-25-2008, 02:12 PM I am not worried, the Redskins were only going to keep three LB's anyway and Campbell and Blades play every position. So they need a guy behind them, forth string so to speak. So they need a guy behind them, forth string so to speak. They better be keeping more than just 3 LBs. I'm counting on at least 6 total. T.O.Killa 08-25-2008, 02:26 PM Sorry, I meant three back ups. SFREDSKIN 08-25-2008, 02:32 PM Fincher will replace him. FRPLG 08-25-2008, 03:11 PM Sinclair isn't really and nfl caliber LB anyways I mean who are we kidding. Sinclair was a lock for the team before this. |
