This team needs to play Thurs. they need to get something positive happening before the opener. A half if needed.

I'd like to see them in there for one quarter, but if they can string together a nice 8 play TD scoring drive I'd be happy with them being done at that point on offense and a solid 3 and out on back to back drives on defense and then let the backups have it.

what do yall think about the o line? Would you play the starters longer w/Collins & other 2nd teamers? Both the 1st & 2nd team o lines have been getting beat a good bit in pass pro. It's a tough decision to play them & risk injury or put your qb at greater risk.

I would say maybe a series...the question is how long with the Jags will keep their starters in the game.

Give them the night off. With a short week before the opener I would keep both units fresh.
We play our last preseason game Thursday -- the Players still have a full week to dedicate to NY.

I think the first string offensive line needs to play at least a quarter, maybe a half.

Certain Players should not play...Portis, Moss, some of the defensive starters who have no great back-up behind them... if they play I don't want to see themm for more than two or three drives or so...

I voted for a half but after consideration, I would change it to a quarter. It's a marathon season and an early Thursday game, so about a quarter. Hopefully we can get something going.

maybe for a series. but i wouldnt be mad if they did play at all. we need to keep everyone healthy for the season, did we just not see our defense hopes for this flash in front of our eyes on sat. taylor could have been done for the season. we need them to focus on the giants not worrying about a preseason game v.s. the jags

The starting offensive line should play at least one quarter. They need the work. Key offensive players (Campbell, Portis, Betts, Moss, Randel-El and Cooley) should play until they score, no longer than one quarter. The defense should rest their starters. Emphasis should be placed on basics; blocking, tackling, ...

I think they should play a series or 2 but no more and I hope they error on the side of caution with any injured players. The game against the Panthers was a nightmare, but no reason to overracted and do something stupid like risk furhter injury to the staters just to make a point.
