The doc says sprained knee but MRI can't be done yet because they don't have one in Carolina... who doesn't have an MRI these days??

I worked for Carolina for two years, there are a lot of things they are still one step behind in.

Man, I was just thinking....Dr. Andrews must be the richest mofo. He's like a savior for a lot of players since he fixed up Carlson Palmer.

How long are you out with an knee sprain?

That all depends on the severity of the sprain. If JT heals quick and it's only a sprain....he could very well be ready for the opener.

It's always called a knee sprain until an MRI is done. We still don't know anything.

On another note, did anybody else hear something about a foot injury to Jansen?

Recovery from sprains is of course dependent upon the severity. With a grade 1 sprain, you're talking about stretching of the ligaments, and you can come back in two weeks, sometimes less.

With a grade 3 sprain, you're talking about some partial tearing of ligaments. This takes 6-8 weeks typically.

A grade 2 obviously would be somewhere in between.

I am personally thinking we'll miss Taylor for about the first four weeks of the regular season. That looked like a pretty bad one.

Man this sucks, so we're basically fielding the same team on defense against the Giants....our offense is also the same...and they're playing the same way as last year. ugh.
