Here's the problem:
The NFL does not broadcast to Japan, and the FOX channel we get is broadcasted out of the West Coast, which is a non-Redskin area.

Here's the alleged problem
We were told that they can't broadcast the NFL network here, because they do not have copyrights for their programs.

Here's the reason I'm confused.
How can the NFL, not have copyrights for their own shows? I mean, they are connected to the NFL right? Hmmm...NFL...to...NFL....

Is it me? And if you have any information on this, please let me know.

I'm a CPA, not an Intellectual property attorney, but I think it would involve some kind of non-recognition of US copyrights over there, and they'd worry that once they are broadcast they'd be in there public domain.

Or, they are just making up excuses.

Probably typical BS. The NFL network owned by private company paying the NFL to use their name and run the football games. Because of copy write laws they can't have it shipped to Japan. Just my guess.

I faced a similiar problem, you can try Slingbox if you can get someone from the states to help.
