SmootSmack 08-20-2008, 12:16 AM Good that James is going to play some, I hear that he's been impressive in practice Not even jsarno cares about Joe Horn being released I believe Betts restructured his contract last month, but I don't know if that makes him more or less tradeable I know that the Redskins have some concerns about Landry's ability to start game 1 due to his nagging hamstring injury (wouldn't surprise me if Springs got the start there week 1, especially if Rogers is ready to start again) That said, Ed Reed is questionable for the season opener (if not longer) as well with a shoulder injury so that doesn't solve that problem We should, if we insist on trading for a Ravens safety, go after Dawan Landry. Zorn is planning on using Portis AND Betts together in the backfield and also Betts is great on pass plays (receiving, not blocking). He's an important piece to the offense. Of course, Rock DOES look great at RB, as does Mason, but we do not have a need for old man Reed.
