We need 6 healthy WR's. Think you will see Kelly on IR or PUP. Kelly needs to realize this is now business. Now there is always someone ready to take your roster spot. Nothing is guaranteed.

I think Kelly's lack of conditioning may have helped Mann and McMullen make the team.

I think Justin Hamilton should fit into the equation somewhere. I can't believe they didn't give him a chance at KR. Seems everyone's list is the same except for 3 or 4 people. Looks like we had a good draft if 8 of 10 make the active roster.

For all the griping that some people (and a certain reporter) seem to do about our lack of depth and youth on the lines, it looks to me like we are in ok shape. Heyer is a future starter, Rinehart is a future starter and Geisinger has been solid as an undrafted rookie. Now I wouldn't want to trot them out on opening day, but if they can provide depth (which is what backups do) we are doing ok. On the DL, chances are that Monty and Golston will be starting next year, Evans is a contributor and LoAx is a young player as well. I'd like to see a stud emerge from that group but at least we've got some youngsters in the rotation.

The only thing that concerns me is that we only have 3 wr's on the roster who have shown anything positive in the past 3 months. Maybe I'm wrong and Kelly and Thomas can someday show themselves to be serviceable backups but right now Davis or Cooley will have to line up in a 4 or 5 wr set (like Seahawks occasionally run). Guess we won't see many of those.
Usually I'm one of the most optimistic people on here but in this case I think Derrick Frost is right. Cerrato can break his arm patting himself on the back because 10 out of 10 choices made the team but Tryon shouldn't have and all three wrs that were cut have shown more right now than either of the out of shape duo.
