I don't know if he could break 4.0- coming out of a start position, it takes a good twenty to thirty meters (even for the fastest man on earth) to hit top speed. His average speed/meter is ridiculous (thus showing the high probability that he should be able to clock a 3.9). But the mid-latter part of his sprints are where the time flies due to acceleration.
40 yards is just too short of a distance to do that... then again, I wouldn't be entirely shocked if this guy could pull it off hehehe... * I think Darrell still owns the record at 4.15.
