I was sort of turned off especially by Edwards saying his wife's cancer was in remission when the affair began, as if that made it ok

Edwards is and has been a slimeball. Politics aside he is donkey. Dems can thank their lucky prayers he didn't get the nom. I think Clinton and Obama are much more decent people.
