If he's not conditioned to deal with a quarter or two of runs in preseason, how would he deal with 12 straight full games like portis?
I like him...but conditioning is a factor

From the stats and notes it sounds like the Skins turned in a solid effort tonight on both sides of the ball - sweeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!

Springs at safety though? I know he's capable but I hope we never see it in the regular season.

I don't mind Springs at safety some. Springs, Laron, Rogers and Smoot are probably our 4 best guys in the secondary so I wouldn't mind seeing all 4 on the field at the same time.

One negative I noticed is no pass rush from the front 4.

The Post is reporting that Carter was playing left end while Taylor lined up right which isn't totally out of the ordinary. I was watching the Skins/Vikings game from last year this week and saw that Carter pretty much played the whole game at LE to take advantage of the Vikings weekness at RT. So looks like the 2 will move around throughout the game.
