Hey if I'm a Dolphin fan I would find this better than Beck/Henne/McCown.

Regardless of who is at QB that should be their game plan. They're not going to beat anyone through the air as it is. Might as well pound that rock.

He was scheduled to make 6 Mil this year in NY and he signed for 11.5 over 2. He signed for below market value for a veteran starter, and below what he would have made in NY. He didn't even get an annual raise for inflation. My guess is that he was depending on that 6 Mil this year and it was removed from beneath his feet. Parcells, while many think he overpaid for Chad, probably just met Chad's needs and underpaid for a veteran starting QB (according to market value).

Parcells drafted him back in his NYJ days so he knows what he is getting. Say what you want about Parcells but he does seem to turn teams around.

Pennington's WR's are Ted Ginn, Hagan and the big slow dude from Jacksonville who went to Va Tech. Outside of SF, Miami could have the worst passing game in the NFL. But I remember Hagan when he was at Ariz St. and he was a freaking animal. I thought he was going to be a stud in the pros.

Pennington is still a good QB anyone who disagrees is just a casual observer of the game.

Favre is exactly who you don't want in a rebuilding effort. Pennington can accellerate the effort more than Josh McCown would. He's not high profile enough to block Chad Henne's development. Favre seems to block everyones development.
I disagree. Favre has had at least two very reliable, and multi-playoff QB's come right out from under him. Matt Hasselbeck and Mark Brunell both went to the Playoffs multiple years, and Hasselbeck went to a Super Bowl. Kellen Clemons has the potential to be a franchise QB and take the Jets many places, especially given their recent additons to the offense. They are a good draft away from being Super Bowl contenders already with Favre at the helm. If they are indeed "rebuilding", Clemons should come out after Favre's short reign swinging for the fences. He just needs to pay attention and take advantage of the experienced mentor that Mangini went out and got for him.
As far as the 'Phins go, Pennington is an upgrade, but I really think that Tuna wants to look like he is trying to improve, all the while thinking about next years draft spot high atop the board.

Hopefully, he will do well in Miami. He still is a good QB, but doesn't compare to Favre's numbers.
