Schmitt Out of Luck

i said this in the other thread on hamilton, i go to tech so im not hating on him for any particular reason other than that he isnt very good. he was a running back and became a safety, he just isnt good. seriously doubt he makes the team

hamilton sucks. an athlete without a position that has some meager talent, but did nothing in college.

Good riddance to you, Schmitt. I don't care if you didn't think you had a chance, you man up and finish the practice. Clearly, Schmitt doesn't have what it takes to play football.

someone decides struggling for years to make practice squad money during the summer isn't worth the beating and year round work?

good for him i guess. maybe he's got something else lined up and doesn't need the hassle for well below nfl minimum wages.

I saw Vinny C on Redskins Nation yesterday and he said the main reason for signing Hamilton is because we needed bodies to suit up at the safety position for tonight's game.

Appearantly Vernon Fox has a death in the family, so he might have funeral to attend. Laron is still nursing a sore hammy and Vinny said that it was more important to have him ready against the Giants, not the Bills. And Horton has an infection of some sort. He'll be a game time decision depending on the doctors decision. Enter Hamilton, folks.

I think Horton is much better. We'll see about Moore. Justin was never going to be "the guy". His best quality in college wasn't his football ability at a particular skill position,it was his ability to switch to a new position selflessly in order to put the best guy in the game. Let's put it this way, his presence on the team never hurt the Hokies but it didn't really elevate them at that position (RB/WR/S) either = camp body.
