Yes it's ridiculously early to begin evaluating him, but hey it's what we do best, right?
Rank your current confidence level in Jim Zorn with 5 being total confidence and 1 being no confidence at all.
Please note the trademark makes this poll super important.

He definitely seems to have control over the team and I really like how he delegates to his assistants. He also really seems to know when to push guys and when to lay off and when to give praise and when not. His comments on Colt needing to improve and his prodding of the rookie wrs is nice. But hey, it's only preseason.

He looks like he knows what he's doing and i like the variety in his play calling. The players look like their having fun, I'm excited to see some more preseason action.

3 because he has appeared to have done well so far, but its only the preseason. Gotta see him in the rigors of the regular season before I can rate him higher

Just like in grade school you start with an A and work your way down. Right now he hasn't done anything to screw up his A. I give him a 5.

I'm going with 3, right now....
I will say, I'm am VERY VERY Impressed on how he has handled this team (by all reports) in training camp, and by my visuals in the Hall of Fame game...he defintley has to this point played the part of an NFL head coach, and a damn good one...
With that being said...its still the preseason. I will start judging when it matters. We all saw Spurrier tear it up in the preseason (although its a completley different way than Zorn has approached it, he comes across more "proffesional", if thats the right word)....I'm defintley taken the wait and see approach, but I'm very happy with what I've seen to date.

5... I have total confidence in him right now. He has done everything right so far, so I have no reason to lose confidence in him.

Giving a guy who hasn't coached a real game a confidence below or above 3 seems retarded. What do you base your confidence on? Gut feeling? A pre-season game? Confidence is earned and built over time not given cost free.
